Wicked illustration to go on shirts
A t-shirt design for children. Shown is a Nekomata, a cat demon from japanese folklore.
Process
Initially I had planned for a banner with a fancy quote beneath the creature, which is clearly visible in the sketch. In the end I liked the inks so much without it, that I kept it out. I also thought monstrous whiskers would look cool. They ended up being so distracting that I left them out as well.
